About

A performance by David Blandy, with Xolani Mnyaka, commissioned for A Tradition I Do Not Mean To Break

David Blandy's fascination with the legendary blues guitarist and singer Robert Johnson, who is said to have gained his extraordinary skills after selling his soul to the devil at crossroads at nightfall, inspired Blandy's new film Crossroads. This event features a discussion between David Blandy and the London-based musician Xolani Mnyaka, followed by a performance by Xolani, in which the musician will present his own interpretation of the 'missing' thirtieth track by Robert Johnson.
