Invites Artist's Presentation: Rachel Maclean

As part of her current Invites exhibition, Rachel Maclean will screen a selection of short films by artists and discuss her work with Rose Gibbs, Arts Programme curator for the East London Fawcett Society.

Maclean invites the audience to enter a synthetic, absurd and at times unnerving world of Fed Ex cathedrals, leopard print jumpsuits and Baroque hamsters. Featuring short film work by Ben Wheele, Pilvi Takala, Jonathan Monaghan, Cliff Evans, Bjørn Melhus, Von Calhau! and Henry Coombes, viewers will encounter a lonely wolf exploring the Scottish National Gallery, witness Snow White's rejection from Disneyland and marvel as Brangelina rides a camel through the Sahara Desert.
