There was so much to see in the big tent, discoveries new and old. I very much enjoyed Charlotte Dualé at Parliament
The winner and highlight in the whole fair was at Anton Kern was Francis Upritchard. There were so many weird and wonderful moments
Sotheby’s hosted a wonderful dinner for BFAMI. Yosef Joseph Yaakov Dadoune whose Kibbutz was destroyed in October helped raised funds to rebuild by selling some of his drawings. Here he is with BFAMI co-chair, Pamela Crystal
We had a wonderful visit to Adel Abdessemed Studio. We saw his plans for a work showing at Galleria Continua. It was so special to see the process
It was our moment was to see Joey Holder, who was showing with Dave Hoyland at Seventeen, the work was wonderous and captivating
Tim Blum had taken the plunge and was showing an incredible group of works by Lonnie Holley. Hats Off!
I saw so much in this work at Templon by older artist Gérard Garouste titled ‘Lilith voilée’, 2023. This image summed up the world today and what we, the people, are against coming out the woodwork from all angles
My favourite piece in the show was by beloved Tavares Strachan titled ‘Double Consciousness’, 2023 at Marian Goodman
I was so excited to see work by Anthony D Green, a former Invites artist
The design show was beautiful at Gallery Hostler Burrows, and I spotted some lovely ceramics
