Yvette Van Caldenborgh greets us at the Museum Voorlinden and shows us around. First of all, we spy wonderful work by the Ukranian artist Zhanna Kadyrova, ‘Filling In’
We then spot this piece by Dimitri Tsykalov titled ‘Skin’, which is a bear, made up of ammunition boxes
The collection was the mastermind of Yvette’s father who has collected for 50 years. They both love the work of Charles Avery
Tom Sachs’ work ‘Figurative Tower’ was lovely
A great work by my favourite artist David Batchelor
I loved these sea paintings by Hans-Peter Feldmann
There was a solo of colourful work Beat Zoderer called ‘Less and More’ which was incredibly impressive
My favourite work was by Olafur Eliasson ‘Retinal flare space’
Yvette waits for us all to exit safely at the end
Ron Mueck’s ‘Couple Under an Umbrella’ was a showstopper. His hyper-realistic human figures are detailed with the utmost craftmanship
Finally, we all solved the mystery of the swimming pool, a great work by Leandro Erlich where the visitor can walk on the bottom without getting wet
Chloe and Kate from our Cultivist group leading the escape!
As we depart, we spot some home-grown Martin Creed in front of the museum
