Looking back at summer in Finland
We were honoured to be spending time with artist Keith Tyson within his ‘Large Field Array’ labyrinth
Keith went through all three hundred plus pieces explaining the history. It was like discovering the installation all over again
We then visited Richard Woods’ cottage which we commissioned in 2011. Here’s Charlie trying it out for size
My bestie Cindy chilling on the Jeppe Hein bench
We finally installed the wonderful photographs taken by Jason Schmidt during our 2014 Artist Residency where Nicolas Deshayes, Sam Falls and Caragh Thuring spent time making work on the island
We hung our new artwork by Finnish artist Marika Mäkelä which looked wonderful next to the Dee Ferris painting, Alvar Aalto table and chairs, and Diego Giacometti consoles
A lovely little twist with a beautiful Ellen Altfast drawing and Jane Bustin’s ‘Fawn’ hung appropriately over the piano
Meanwhile, back at home we were proudly hanging our beautiful Donna Huanca paintings
Now to finish off with a rude but true message! Cory Arcangel sliders in Finnish nature
