Antti Laitinen

In the summer of 2010, Antti Laitinen constructed a vessel made of bark collected from the forest floor in Finland and sailed it across the Baltic Sea from the northern part of Finland to the shores of Estonia. This work was screened as part of a creative partnership between Zabludowicz Collection and Hub Culture for the Global Climate Summits: the Governors’ Global Climate Summit 3 at theUniversity of California Davis, running from 15-17 November 2010 and is planned for additional screenings in December 2010 in Cancun and Demos in January 2011.

In 2013 Laitinen will represent Finland in the 55th Venice Biennale.
