About
Working together since meeting at Nottingham Trent University in 1987, Tim Noble and Sue Webster are best known for their 'shadow sculptures', where seemingly chaotic assemblages of everyday objects are revealed to be extremely precise constructions through the projection of light on nearby walls. Fusing together contradictory notions and expectations of representation extends into their wider practice involving installation and UV works frequently tinged with irreverent humour.
