New solo exhibition by Yelena Popova opening at Nottingham Contemporary

A new exhibition by Yelena Popova opens at Nottingham Contemporary this weekend, marking the artist's first solo presentation for a UK public institution. After Image will feature a range of new artworks, including a large scale multimedia installation, which continue to develop Popova's interest in the limitations of visual communication, art history, and shared spaces. Incorporating painting, sculptural objects, and film work, the final exhibition will challenge the viewer to re-engage with multiple perspectives. Yelena Popova previously exhibited as part of Zabludowicz Collection Invites and in group show Infinite City, produced in collaboration with CCA Wattis Institute.
