Corin Hewitt awarded Rome Prize in Visual Art 2014-2015

Corin Hewitt, an artist whose works will be included in the Zabludowicz Collection's Finland programme this Summer, has been named as a recipient of the prestigious Rome Prize in Visual Art 2014-2015. Hewitt will be invited to complete a yearlong fellowship with the American Academy in Rome during which he will complete his proposed artwork series Compressed Interiors.

Now in its 118th year, the Rome Prize is awarded to around 30 academics and artists who represent the highest standards of excellence in the arts and humanities. Full details of other recipients in 2014-2015 can be found at the American Academy in Rome website.
