HOT WITH EXCESS: A SEASON OF CONTEMPORARY ARTISTS’ OPERA, which will kick off on 12 March, is a special season that explores the collision of contemporary art and opera through a series of opera performances, screenings and discussions.
With participating artists including Sam Belinfante, Beatrice Gibson, Trulee Hall, Richard Kennedy, Benjamin Orlow, Marijke de Roover and Alexandre Singh, we look how artists working today are commandeering this 400 year old cultural tradition to propose new hybrid ways of working which resist easy definition.
